What we do?

The Mauritius Squash & Rackets Association (MSRA) is in charge of the well-being of our squash players and aim to develop the sport locally.

We currently have between 50-100 senior squash players regularly playing tournaments in Mauritius but over 100 players of all ethnicities playing socially in different clubs around the island.

We strive to help the sport grows by encouraging more players to get licenced, by offering well-organized tournaments for our senior players and develop squash academies across the island.

During the last 3 years, 2 squash academies have been created and a 3rd will be launched end of year 2019. Find more info

We organizes each year between 6 to 8 local tournaments and one international tournament, the Mauritius Squash Open. We have also implement 3-4 Junior tournaments for our youngsters per year.

2017 saw the birth of The Necker Pro Squash Open, an International Exhibition tournament organised by a private company Necker Gestion Privée with the help of our Federation.
For the 3rd consecutive year, this exhibition tournament offers exceptional games with the participation of a level never proposed in Mauritius, with players from the top 30 worldwide.

The Necker Pro Squash Open 2019 will take place during the Island Games as an exhibition sport next July at the Caudan Waterfront.
The world top 10 players (men and women) will be there once again for this amazing tournament.
